Redeveloping and modernising an outdated petrol filling station
Motor Fuel Group approached us about the redevelopment of an existing site in Putney. The project included changes to the petrol filling station and the addition of EV charging points, a valet facility and a retail outlet with parking.
Jennings Design was awarded the full client brief, including architectural design, project management, engineering services and cost control.
The site was located above a District Line tunnel which created physical challenges. However, after a detailed planning phase, work commenced in March 2021 with Toureen Retail Ltd acting as principal contractor.
The site opened for business in September 2021. One of the key upgrades was the inclusion of a new 8-bay EV charging platform which caters for the growing number of EV customers in the area.
We’re delighted to say that MFG Shell Putney was overall winner of the Forecourt Trader of the Year Award 2022 and received a Forecourt Trader of the Year Award 2022 – London & the South East over 4mlpa.
